An important part of trade fair GrootGroenPlus is the inspection of plants. Every plant submitted for a plant inspection will participate in the Green Grand Prix for free. That is why you can use the online form to indicate whether or not you want to purchase a regular novelty inspection by the KVBC, which would allow you to possibly receive a medal of this independent inspection authority as well.
 
Both the national and international press give a lot of attention to the plant inspections, which results in global press coverage. Submitting tree nursery products for the novelty inspection by the KVBC is possible for both participants and non-participants of GrootGroenPlus 2023. 
 
Green Grand Prix
GrootGroenPlus feels that it is of the utmost importance that everyone in the industry knows what happened with plants that were inspected earlier, and that have created big results. That is why the Green Grand Prix offers growers the possibility to put the spotlight on plants that have already been inspected. They can be judged again based on the growing performance. Only plants that have been inspected by the KVBC in the past 10 years (trade fair inspection, field inspection, star inspection) are eligible for this Green Grand Prix. It is very easy to participate. The Green Grand Prix is specifically aimed at judging the (growing) performance. 
 
All judges are well-known specialists, who will inspect all plants on 4 October 2023, and award certificates and/or medals.
 
Registration for participation in the Green Grand Prix and novelties is possible until 1 September via the form on the website: https://grootgroenplus.nl/registration-green-grand-prix. If a novelty inspection by the KVBC is required, we will automatically submit your plant for the trade fair inspection by the KVBC.
